Powering support for growing teams
Where the two tools actually differ
Below is where ThriveDesk comes out ahead and where Re:amaze does.
Flat per plan, not per team member
ThriveDesk: One price per plan, whatever the headcount or the volume.
Re:amaze: Per team member above the flat Starter plan, from $26.10 to $62.10.
Help center inside your website
ThriveDesk: Run the help center on your own WordPress site, with full conversation history.
Re:amaze: Hosted FAQ site with a custom domain, and a dated article editor.
Built around WooCommerce
ThriveDesk: WooCommerce, SureCart, Stripe, and Paddle context sits beside the reply.
Re:amaze: Strongest on Shopify, with BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Magento also covered.
How much could you save with ThriveDesk?
Your ThriveDesk plan: Standard. Re:amaze rates are its published annual-billing prices, read from reamaze.com in August 2026. Monthly is $29, $49, and $69. Their $59 flat Starter plan is not modelled here: it covers unlimited team members but caps at 500 responded conversations a month, so it beats these numbers for small low-volume teams.
ThriveDesk vs Re:amaze: which should you pick?
- On price
- Re:amaze Basic is $26.10 a team member a month billed annually, so five people cost about $131 against $69 for ThriveDesk Standard, and Pro at $44.10 puts the same five near $221. One exception matters: their $59 flat Starter plan covers unlimited team members up to 500 responded conversations a month, which genuinely beats us for a small, low-volume team.
- On getting started
- Both are approachable and neither expects an administrator. The recurring Re:amaze complaint is its knowledge base editor, which reviewers describe as dated — no built-in image upload, so you host images elsewhere and paste URLs, and no live preview. Reviewers also report occasional lag and mobile app instability.
- On features
- Re:amaze is a genuine ecommerce helpdesk: order details and draft orders inside the conversation, plus a Shopify attributed-orders report that ties support conversations to revenue. It also has proactive selling tools — Cues, live visitor monitoring, screen sharing — that most help desks lack. ThriveDesk goes deeper on WooCommerce, SureCart, Stripe, and Paddle, and runs the help center inside your own WordPress site.
- Pick Re:amaze if
- Pick Re:amaze if you sell on Shopify and want revenue attribution from support conversations, or if proactive chat and screen sharing are part of how you sell. Their $59 flat plan is also the better buy for a small team under 500 conversations a month — we have nothing that competes with it at that size.
On G2, side by side
Read the sample sizes before the scores. Re:amaze has far more reviews than we do, which makes its average harder to move in either direction — a higher score off a smaller base is not the same claim. G2 publishes per-dimension scores only on its own comparison pages, and it has none for ThriveDesk yet, so there is no honest way to show a category-by-category split here.

Our pricing philosophy
How we keep pricing flat
Letter no. 0003
From the founder’s desk
Our competitors raised venture capital or private equity, chased rapid growth, and put profits ahead of people.
At first they build for you, the small business owner. Then their sights shift. Enterprise clients promise bigger paydays, so they chase them. New features get built for enterprise instead of for you, interfaces bloat, and simplicity gets sacrificed. The tool you loved stops feeling like yours.
That is not us. We took a different path. We are bootstrapped, funded by one group only: you, our customers. There are no investors to impress, no quarterly profit targets, and no enterprise ambitions pulling us away from the people we set out to serve.
Our mission is simple — help you grow your business through great customer service. We keep our costs low so we can pass the savings on to you. If you are tired of paying enterprise prices for features you will never use, we understand.
We are not here to outgrow you. We are here to grow with you.
